WEALTHY WOMEN is a 3-piece noise rock band based in San Francisco. Inspired by the experimental sounds of hardcore sludge bands, their music pairs abrasive rhythm with sarcastic lyrics that confront the absurdities of modern society.

Formed in 2024, the band spent the following year writing and ultimately recording their debut album at Antisleep Audio with producer Scott Evans (Thrice, Kowloon Walled City, Great Falls). Set for release in early 2026, the album CHILDREN confronts themes that loomed large in 2025: rising toxic masculinity, pervasive misinformation, and the senseless loss of life in multiple wars.

Opening track “37 Days” tells the story of an individual who draws the ire of the state; “Take It Back” laments a voter’s regret; “Worst Date” laughs at hollow misogyny in the dating landscape; “Atheist Wife” confronts an administration that hates our loved ones; and “Children” closes the album with an insistent drone that mourns the murders of the most innocent.

The band is made up of Peter, Don, and Andrew. Peter fronts the group on vocals and guitar, delivering the band’s sharp social and political commentary, with Don holding down the low end on bass and Andrew powering things forward on drums.
