Suicide Eyes is straight-up Philly hardcore—no qualifiers, no bullshit. The music is aggressive and in-your-face, but underneath the throttle there’s a tenderness and vulnerability most bands can’t tap into—or are too scared to try. In that way, Suicide Eyes aren’t far off from modern Philly hardcore greats like Horror Show, Ink & Dagger, and Blacklisted, or early 2000s Boston bands like American Nightmare and Panic.
