Autopsy To Headline Decibel's 20th Anniversary Show

The world's premiere metal publication, Decibel Magazine, will celebrate twenty years of extreme excellence this Summer and they've just dropped the party details. The event will take place at Philadelphia's Brooklyn Bowl and features headliner AUTOPSY, somehow playing their first ever show in the City of Brotherly Love.

Autopsy is revved up, bloodthirsty and ready to bring 100% horrific Death Metal to Decibel’s 20th anniversary bash in Philadelphia,” says drummer/vocalist Chris Reifert. “Come on out and go insane with us!

Also on the bill, IMMOLATION will perform a special "First 20 Years" set, exploring their legendary back catalog. Locals HORRENDOUS will celebrate ten years of their landmark Ecdysis album, while their neighbors CRYPT SERMON will play their new record The Stygian Rose in it's entirety. It doesn't stop there as frequent Decibel co-conspirators and US black metal legends KRIEG will Botox eyes back, DEATHEVOKATION will bring that old-school death metal primer, and Philly's own noise/grunge step-children RID OF ME will kick things into gear.

We are proud to reveal an event that feels as momentous as our 20th anniversary itself,” says Decibel founder and editor in chief Albert Mudrian. “We’re eager to party in our hometown with some of our oldest and dearest friends. And, no, you’re not on the guest list.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am EST.
