Bridge Nine Records Signs HeavyHex

Earlier this year, on episode 267 of Getting It Out Podcast, Bridge Nine Records boss Chris Wrenn expressed his intention to sign new bands in 2023. Fresh off the signing of NYC hardcore band Incendiary Device, the label has revealed another addition to their roster in Long Island's HEAVYHEX.

Bridge Nine boss Chris Wrenn comments on the signing, “The entire Bridge Nine team is thrilled to be working with HEAVYHEX. Listening to their EP, I got the same feeling I did when I first heard Have Heart and Defeater, and knew they were meant to join the Bridge Nine family. I can’t wait to release their new album and see everyone at their upcoming shows singing along to their compelling songs.

The band just wrapped up recording their debut full-length with Defeater's Jay Maas. True To You has yet to be assigned an official release date, but while you wait, check out some of the band's earlier material below.

Upcoming HeavyHex Shows:

8/27 w/ Survivors Guilt & American Slobs @ Amityville Music Hall -  Amityville, NY

9/22 w/ The Backup Plan & Private Mind @ Amityville Music Hall -  Amityville, NY
