Norwegian post-punk experts DAMOKLES have premiered a new music video for "Angel In A Dumpster," the first single from their upcoming third album, A Trophy Collection. The sixteen-song record captures the prolific Oslo-based band's continuing evolution of sound and will be self-released on their own Sect Appeal Records.
The band comments, "This new outing serves as a (dare we utter the word) “concept album”; chronicling the life story of a fictional serial killer. Detailing his inner workings in juxtaposed snapshots throughout his existence; from plotting that first crucial kill, to trying to somehow rationalise his deeds, or being confronted by his victims’ families in a court room. “Angel In A Dumpster” is such a look into this man’s fragmented psyche; a love letter written for his victims, a twisted pop song where the void is never ending."
