Damokles Premiere "Swing, Pendulum, Swing"

Oslo-based DAMOKLES have returned with the debut single and title track "Swing, Pendulum, Swing", from their upcoming sophomore album due out this October, on Vinter Records.

The track picks up where the band left off on 2022's Nights Come Alive, in all of it's discordant yet melodic post-punk glory. The debut LP landed on Getting It Out's album of the year list and it looks like Swing, Pendulum, Swing is headed in the same direction.

The album was mixed at Crystal Island Studio and mastered by the trusty hands of Alan Douches at West West Studio (The Promise Ring, Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Chelsea Wolfe, Mastodon, etc.). The music video below was directed by longtime artistic collaborator Kenneth Olaf Hjellum.

Pre-order information has yet to surface, but we'll keep you posted as information comes available. For more on Damokles, check out episode 216 of Getting It Out Podcast featuring vocalist Gøran Karlsvik HERE.
