Glacial Tomb Drop "Stygian Abattoir"

Denver sludge/death trio, GLACIAL TOMB has premiered a new song and accompanying music video for "Stygian Abattoir." The track is the second single from the band's upcoming sophomore album, Lightless Expanse, due out September 20 on Prosthetic Records.

Vocalist/guitarist Ben Hutcherson comments on the track, "We knew that Stygian Abattoir was the album opener after the first time we played it. It’s fast. It’s unrelenting. It is an amuse-bouche of blastbeats and death growls that gives the listener an overview of the record without showing our hand completely. I wanted to make sure that the lyrics established a thematic foundation for the rest of the album while also being as direct and unrelenting as the music, hence the line “mankind is a disease.”"
