Magnetic Eye Records Signs Oceanlord

On the strength of a 2020 demo, Melbourne, Australia's doom triumvirate OCEANLORD has inked a deal with Magnetic Eye Records. Throughout 2022, the band tracked its debut release at the home of guitarist/vocalist Peter Willmott. No further album details or release information has been announced, but we'll have the updates when it is!

Willmott comments on the signing, "From the shadows, we herald the release of our debut album through Magnetic Eye Records. Get ready for a voyage into the abyss of cosmic terror. The release is imminent, we ready ourselves for a journey beyond the veil of reality."

"By the great old ones, doom is often brutal and annihilating, yet some is also dark and bleak as well as wistful, melancholic, crushing and somehow also strangely uplifting", Jadd Shickler, Magnetic Eye director writes.
