The Triceratops Premiere New Single "I'll Go If You Go"

Brooklyn-based duo THE TRICERATOPS will reveal their debut full-length Charge! on November 1st via Learning Curve Records. Today, Getting It Out is proud to present the record's second single "I'll Go If You Go." The song is pleasantly reminiscent of the 90's alt-rock era, complete with the quiet verse, and loud chorus dynamic the Pixies kickstarted in the early 80's. The record was produced by Andrew Schneider (Cave In, Unsane, KEN Mode) and mixed by Carl Saff. Check out the album artwork and full tracklist below.
Members John Van Atta (vocals/guitar) and Melvin Monroe (drums/vocals) met as stagehands at the iconic CBGB's. However, it wasn't until years after the club closed that they reconnected to form The Triceratops and craft their hook-laden, minimalist sound. Earlier this year, they released their self-titled EP and notably performed at the Caterwaul festival in Minneapolis.
Van Atta comments on the track, "This was about deciding to have a kid after Trump got elected. But it could be about any decision you feel like you need to make even though the odds are against you and making that decision with a partner is true love, or at least a large continent on the world of true love.
I hadn’t seen it when I wrote it, but it’s wrestling with the same questions as the movie First Reformed"
