SpiritWorld Return With "Western Stars & The Apocalypse"

Las Vegas metallic hardcore lords SPIRITWORLD have re-emerged with "Western Stars & The Apocalypse," the band's first new track since Deathwestern (Century Media) was released in 2022. Producer Sam Pura engineered and mixed the track, which was mastered by Alberto de Icaza (King Crimson, Clutch).
"I wrote 'Western Stars & The Apocalypse' right after Deathwestern came out when we got home from touring Europe with Agnostic Front," says frontman Stu Folsom. He also acknowledges another unlikely source of inspiration: "I was revisiting a lot of Bob Dylan in my bunk on that tour and there is a nod to his song 'Desolation Row' in the lyrics."
The animated clip was directed by Balázs Gróf, who was given creative license to go nuts. Folsom enthuses: "I really love Gróf's work and I just turned him loose with the song. It’s a weird, spooky, animated trip through the underworld!"
