Los Angeles-based trio BLACKWATER HOLYLIGHT has revealed the details of their forthcoming LP, Not Here Not Gone, to be released January 30th via Suicide Squeeze Records. Accompanying the announcement is the record's first single, "Heavy, Why?," including a music video directed by Lorenzo Cisi.
Vocalist Sunny Faris comments on the track, "'Heavy, Why?' Is a lyrically light and instrumentally heavy arrangement that cryptically but intentionally speaks to the experience of being disembodied and poses the question, simply, of: 'Why? Why is it such a hard, lonely, agonizing and heavy experience to be turned away from Self.'"
