Instrumental rock trio WE CONTAIN MULTITUDES have revealed the details of their sophomore LP, Say Nothing, to be released on November 27th via Expert Work Records and Vina Records. Accompanying the news of the album is the premiere of the title track "Say Nothing" on streaming services worldwide.
Guitarist Jon Fine comments on the track, "This is, basically, our first song. The first one we finished, and the one that sounded best when we first practiced together back in 2017. The weird thing is that we all still really like it.
There are the songs you love that have a giant hook that just completely seduces you. But some of our favorite songs are those that get into you more slowly through repetition and groove, and a momentum that slowly builds. That’s what we were going for here.
“Say Nothing” is the title of a spectacular book by Patrick Radden Keefe. It is also a good credo/statement of purpose for an instrumental band. (We see you, instrumental bands, and we salute you.) Which is why it’s also the name of our album. That, and also that choosing album titles is really hard."
