Heavy Is The Head is a 5 piece metallic hardcore band out of Richmond VA formed in 2021. Their debut EP titled HIGH PRESSURE was released early 2022 via GGT Records (based in Seattle WA) on vinyl. Followed later that year with another EP, NO MORE TIME, also released by GGT Records. In the short time the band has been together they have toured up and down the east coast from Rochester NY to Jacksonville FL; some tours solo and others with Pure Bliss (NY) and StrikeFace (SC). HITH packs a heavy musical punch while lyrically speaking to social injustices, mental health awareness, and scene unity.
