PYRECULT emerged in 2013 from the filthy metropolis of Paris, France, with former musicians of bands like PROVIDENCE, WOLFPACK, MPO or SPITFIGHT. The band explores the depths of black metal while keeping their origins firmly in the punk hardcore scene. Their music embodies the eerie and atmospheric qualities of this style, pulsating with raw energy and intensity.

Over the years PYRECULT played with bands such as ALL OUT WAR, MERAUDER, SUBURBAN SCUM, FIRST BLOOD, ROTTING OUT, BLACK TONGUES, or NO TURNING BACK, and released two EPs: “Sought To Overthrow” in 2014 and “Obedience” in 2017.

Now with 10+ years of existence and after a period of hiatus, the band is back with a new strong line up (including past members of HEXIS) and is now ready to release a new EP entitled “Voluntary Serfdom”, mixed and mastered at Bricktop Recording by Andy Nelson and Pete Grossman.
