Aaron Bruno and Eric Stenman are the masterminds behind HUGE projects you know and love. Bruno is the creator of the Diamond-certified act AWOLNATION, while Stenman is a renowned producer and the bassist of alt-rock group Tinfed and also works as a producer for some pretty high-profile acts.

The pair have long been inspired by the West Coast's contributions to hardcore punk and created The Barbarians of California with the spirit of the underground and the personal catharsis of metallic hardcore in mind. Together, they crafted a batch of throwback bangers combining impassioned angst with modern sensibilities. Their debut album And Now I’m Just Gnashing My Teeth is set to release on October 4, 2024.

Despite their success in the mainstream, they first collided in the California hardcore scene of the early '90s where Stenman cut his teeth in the same Sacramento community that eventually launched diverse and disparate acts like Deftones, Far, Will Haven, Team Sleep, Hella, Dance Gavin Dance, Death Grips, and Trash Talk. With their new project, Barbarians of California, they are unleashing their pent-up energy, defiant mindset, and raw fury to explore new sides of their musical genius.
