Chevreuil Return With "Tartarus"
French rock duo CHEVREUIL has announced its return with Stadium, a double LP scheduled for release on April 24th via Computer Students™. The release will end a twenty-year hiatus for the band.
Accompanying the announcement and record details is the first single, “Tartarus,” along with a video created by Dutch artist and designer Bas Mantel.
Stadium finds members Tony C. and Julien F. still dedicated to their unique concept of the band - "a self-contained, sculptural device for sound, space, and motion rather than a conventional rock ensemble." The sixteen-song album was live recorded, self-produced, and will be essentially self-released in various formats.
It is available as a standard double 12", 180-gram HQ, 33rpm vinyl edition housed in a reverse-board, 6mm-spine gatefold sleeve. A Deluxe edition — matching the same core specifications — adds a 12-page codex that provides full technical transparency, documenting the band’s complete recording configuration, including all parameter settings and specifications. This version is presented in the label’s trademark sealed aluminum sleeve with black print. CD, cassette, and digital formats will be issued in their most unadulterated form. A limited colored-vinyl edition in a Type-1 aluminum sleeve is available exclusively through the Computer Students™ website.
