Season Of Mist Records have announced the signing of Chilean band MAWIZA! The band's unique brand of Mapuche folk blended with metal is a brand new spin on the genre. More information on their label debut is to come, but until then, they'll continue to spread their message to the masses.
"We are excited to announce that we are now part of Season of Mist, a label that has supported and promoted bands we deeply respect", Mawiza says. "Our hearts are strengthened. As part of the indigenous Mapuche Nation, we must first give thanks to the natural energies that made this possible.
With this new partnership, our music is ready to root like a tree in new territories and break through the concrete of the largest cities, always guided by the wisdom of our ancestors and the will of our land.
Our next album is on its way. With the support of Season of Mist, we are confident it will be our most powerful work to date.
We want to thank mother nature that governs us all and the spirits that protect our sacred land of Wallmapu for their guidance and deliverance.
