The Conformists Release New Single "Mr. Biron"

Today, St. Louis rock vets THE CONFORMISTS have revealed a brand spankin' new track titled "Mr. Biron." The song will appear on the band's forthcoming fifth full-length, Midwestless, scheduled for release on April 5th courtesy of the incomparable Computer Students™. The album was recorded by the legendary Steve Albini at Electrical Audio and was mastered and cut by Matthew Barnhart at Chicago Mastering Service.

Initially started by four midwestern teenagers, The Conformists have been creating their brand of ugly rock music since 1996. Now a trio featuring two Chris' and one Pat, they've grown up in a sense that some might refer to as a maturation process, but can largely be chalked up to experience gained. The six tracks on Midwestless will serve as the first official recording of the band as a three-piece and the results shown on "Mr. Biron" are promising. Judge for yourself below!

Midwestless will be offered in three forms: a standard edition, LP 180g HQ — Audiophile quality pressing, running at 33rpm, inside a 6mm spine gatefold cover with matte finish. A deluxe edition, LP 180g HQ — Audiophile quality pressing, running at 33rpm, inside a 6mm spine gatefold cover with matte finish housed in tactile Type-2 aluminum pack- aging alongside a massive double-sided poster and digital files for download as well as streaming on all platforms.
