Down "The Myth" Music Video
10/07/26 | [dcraley]USA Nails Share "Two Grim Choices"
On February 12th, USA NAILS will drop Routine Flesh, a co-release via SKiN GRAFT and One Little Independent Records. This week, the band has premiered a new music video for "Two Grim Choices."
Guitarist and vocalist Gareth Thomas comments, "Day three of recording I think, we were trying to mix things up. This tune was Tom’s (drums) idea - he wanted to do a techno song. The lyrics are about paranoia, anxiety and anti-depressants. To me, the way it builds and moves, it feels like an audio panic attack, so it made sense to reflect that in the vox."
He adds, "The accompanying video was also directed by our Tom Brewins, and filmed mostly in Charleroi in Belgium at a venue called Rockerill which used to be a steelworks or something. Really weird spot but so cool. Kind of in the middle of an industrial area with not much else around it. But an apt accompaniment to the industrial leanings of this number, and the themes of anxiety and isolation in the lyrics."
