Dead Meadow Sign to Heavy Psych Sounds

US heavy psychedelic rockers DEAD MEADOW have signed to Heavy Psych Sounds Records for the release of their new studio full-length and EP, as well as the reissue of their entire back catalog in the spring of 2025. That's a lot of wax headed our way from the Washington, D.C.-based trio.

The upcoming LP was written and recorded by Steve Kille (bass/sitar), and the band is ready to share it with the world. It will be released in the spring of 2025, with a first track and preorders to be unveiled very soon.

Frontman Jason Simon comments, “We are happy to announce that an all-new Dead Meadow LP will be released early next year on the one and only Heavy Psych Sounds Records. Steve, Mark, and I had been working on this record throughout 2023, finishing and tracking the final songs in January of this year. We are excited and extremely thankful to have an entire record featuring Steve’s bass and creative influence to still share with the world.

Heavy Psych Sounds adds, "We are really honored to welcome such an incredible band to our roster. We touched base for the first time in 2021 with Dead Meadow bass player Steve and the feelings were great from the first moment. We were devastated when he passed away early this year. We decided to continue the work with Jason and we are sure this collaboration will be very fruitful."
