Gematria Premiere Animated Music Video For "Aletheia"

New Jersey instrumental metal duo GEMATRIA has just issued a new dedisuseno animated video for “Aletheia.” The prog/tech metal song part of the band’s debut LP, Gematria II: The Spindle Of Necessity, out now on Nefarious Industries.

Ray Suhy, one half of the progressive duo, reveals, “‘Aletheia’ was the final song written for Gematria II: The Spindle Of Necessity. The record was missing a finale and I wanted to write something that would encapsulate the elements of all the other songs while providing an appropriate closing statement for the record. The number sequences of 3,4,5 and 1,2,3,4,5 were used as inspirations to create the riffs and motifs throughout. The title was inspired by the Greek goddess of the same name who is the spirit of truthfulness, sincerity, disclosure and being unconcealed.
